Master Bathroom: Tuscan Inspired

Tuscan Inspired Master Bathroom

Here’s our master bathroom suite. This was the very first room that I decorated when we moved in. The look I was going for in the space was Tuscan inspired. Having in mind I wanted the space to be warm, inviting, and relaxing.

before & after

This is what our master bathroom looked like before I added my touch. With a plan I transformed the space in two days.

Bathroom Decor

When decorating an old world style bathroom dark earth tone accessories is important when your are trying to achieve the look. I added my twist of a little bling.

Decorative bath towels

Soft plush decorative towels was purchased from Ross. Tassels were added for that extra Tuscan feel.

Bathroom Decor

The candlesticks, I purchased from Hobby Lobby along with the candles. The tallest one is almost 4 feet tall. It adds drama style and a touch of ambiance.

Faux greenery in metal pot

I included some faux greenery placed in a metal container.

Vase By placing a vase with decorative branches in the corner of the garden tub for some added height.

fresh white towels

towel rack

This towel rack was purchased from Hobby Lobby. You can never have too many towel racks.

Towel Rack

With some epoxy on hand. I glued an old clip-on earring to hide the unsightly nail holding up the towel rack.

Ottomans in master bath

Ottomans are being used for seating.

Fire place screen as wall art

Framed art or iron wall art works well in old world style bathrooms. This is one of my thrifty finds I got for $7. It’s a fireplace screen that I’m using as iron wall art.

Apothecary Jars

Apothecary jars can be found almost anywhere and they can be used for so many things. Here I’m housing sponges, soaps and bath salts.

Tuscan Inspired Master Bathroom

So, try turning your bathroom from ordinary to extraordinary. Try painting those builders beige painted walls to something that compliments your style. Just adding paint to your walls can add drama. Most of all have fun doing it!
