Next month, it will be four years we have been living in our home. It’s has certainly been a joy updating our home inside and out. Our latest project was a small job but it has a big impact on our curb appeal.
About a month ago we got a contractor to install this Concrete Landscape Edging. WOW!!! What an amazing difference in my landscaping. This affordable low maintance edging/curbing defines your flowers beds and make doing lawn work a little easier. A friend of mine suggested something similar to this quikrete concrete crack seal if we ever needed to repair any cracks on our driveway or even concrete edge. These contractors did an amazing job with our landscaping. If you are interested in finding one, you might be interested in someone similar to Atlanta Custom Concrete or a company more local to you.
Concrete edging is mainly used in commerical areas. We see it everyday and everywhere. It looks totally different in your yard.
After the machine pumps out the concrete they smooth it out for a complete hand finish look.
Define your tree surround and even your driveway curbs. It can also be done in different shapes, sizes, and they also come in a variety of multiple shades, and colors.
Concrete landscape edging is better than using removable bricks. They can run you $2-$3 each. We decided not to do that, when you can get this around the same price. While the contractor was there, we asked him if he did sealcoating and concrete repair too but unfortunately he didn’t so we’ll have to look elsewhere to get someone to improve our driveway.
Spring is here but… it’s almost over. I’m a little behind on my planting. Better now than never. I took a trip to lowes home improvement and purchased some much needed color for my flower beds. We have Aztec Grass, Celosia Plumosa (orange), and Moss Rose.
While in the planting mood. Hubby pulled my planters out of the shed I purchased last year at lowe’s. I always buy ”outdoor anything” in the late fall because prices are at their lowest. Inside is a Eugenia Topiary and around the topiary are vinca which is a spring/fall flower.
These Iron wall flower boxes I purchased from the flea market for $7 each. These boxes can easily go for over $149 each. Inside are geraniums.
Whether you want to update your exsisting landscape or if you are starting out fresh. It will keep your edging beautiful for many years to come. And it will add value to your property.
