My love for baking started when I got my first ”Easy Bake Oven”! I know ya’ll remember that? As the baker of the family…there’s a list a mile long of every dessert you can imagine for any occasion. One of my Birthday requests was a Blue Kitchen Aid Mixer. For years I’ve always used an electric hand mixer or just use my hands…! I want to share with you how to Create A Baking Station from a $10 flea market find.
With all the baking I do, I wanted my Kitchen Aide Mixer to be in one stationary place. Having this $10 ClosetMaid wire rack I scored from the flea market last year has allowed me to have my cookie cutters, rolling pins, all of my baking tools in one spot.
Although I have plenty of counter top space. I’m not a fan of clutter and appliances on top of my counter tops. Lifting the Kitchen Aid Mixer is heavy and it can be a task getting it out of the bottom cabinet and then shoving it all back.
I added MDF wood and light duty casters to make the system mobile then sat the organizer on top.
A cutting board was added to the top. This way I can put my Kitchen Aid Mixer on top.
Target dollar spot has the best planner goodies. I put together a binder to hold my kitchen labels, sticky notes, page flags and the mixer manual.
All of my supplies are in one place. All I have to do is roll my cart out of my walk-in pantry. Place it next to my island where the electrical outlet is.
Baseball card holders are perfect for storing candles.
Air tight Mason Jars are great for storing cupcake liners and they’re pretty to look at.
