Carrera Marble, is one of my favorite natural stones. It’s clean, classy and timeless not to mention expensive. Since I couldn’t have them on my countertops I opted for making a DIY Marble Serving Tray.
Suppplies you will need:
- Marble Slab
- Pull Handles (your choice)
- Epoxy or E-6000
- Felt Pads
Follow these steps:
Attach the felt pads to the corners on the bottom of the marble. The pads will help protect your hard surfaces.
Determine where you want your handles. Use your ruler to measure equal distance from the edges. Use your pencil to mark once you have the placement that you want.
Apply E-6000 to the bottom of the handles. Press firmly hold for a few minutes. If glue seeps out clean immediately with a Q-tip. Let it dry overnight and it’s ready for use.
