Supplies Needed: { You may need to shop several stores to get the pieces you will need}
14” Traditional leg (Home Depot)
2-4” Turned Bun Foot (Home Depot)
2” round Bun Foot (Home Depot)
2 1/2” x 3/4” 3/8 Hole Tread Wheel (Hobby Lobby)
1 7/8 ” x 1 3/4” 7/8 Hole Candlestick (Hobby Lobby)
Phineals (Hobby Lobby)
Dowel pack of 4 (Hobby Lobby)
5/8 Hex Shank Spade Bit (Drill Bit)
Drill
Pliers
Wood Dowel Screw 3/16 x 2″ ( Home Depot)
With a 5/8 drill bit drill a hole into your bun foot and phineal shown in the picture. Glue your candlestick on top of the dowel and let it dry. Glue the bun foot and the phineal in to the hole. This step didn’t hold up to well. The hubster suggested I use small double threaded screws. Screw the pieces into the bun foot.
Using pliers, remove the double threaded screw from one of the bun foot and glue it on top of the 4” Turned Bun Foot. Glue each of the thread wheel together and stack it on top of the bun foot. Add your Traditional Leg on top and just keep layering.
Candles can bring a beautiful glow and warmth into your home. Candelabra’s and sconces in different finishes and styles from modern to rustic are throughout our home. It’s such an inexpensive way to add colorful accessory to update the feel in your home.
Valentine’s Day is around the corner. Red and black accent pieces seemed appropriate for the occasion. I shop my entertainment closet and found two black vases. Red tulips looked amazing…. inside them. It adds richness to the look. Brass vintage pheasants birds were a flea market find, $10 bucks for the pair. My Coffee table book equals a dose of perspective.
Warning this is wood. DO NOT BURN CANDLES IN THIS!!!
