Color me smitten….! I can never get enough making a DIY Patio Serving Tray, Marble Contact Paper has me very excited. I’m having soooo….much fun making little projects with it. If you seen my $5 flip C-Table, I shared how I made it over using Marble Contact Paper. Come see how I made a patio tray using MORE marble contact paper.
DIY C-Table
Supplies needed are…. marble contact paper. I got mine from Amazon.com a pair of scissors, x-acto knife, drill, pull Knobs of your choice, wood filler, level or tape measure, and a wood round.
Since my paper is dark, I didn’t have to spray paint the entire wood round. I peeled off the backing of the contact paper and laid a small piece to start with. As you lay the paper use your credit card to smooth out any bubbles as you go along. This process is where patience is needed. Just warning ya!
Home Depot has wood rounds starting at $7 or so. They have different sizes to choose from. The choice is yours. Next, lay the wood round face down and use a x-acto knife or something sharp to to cut around the edges. Take your time doing this because you want it to be straight.
Knob Heaven…lol
Polished chrome handles were the right touch for this tray. It’s a real clean fresh look and it compliments the white faux marble contact paper. It’s never to early to get started on your spring/summertime projects. If…you decide to make a patio tray let me see what you came up with on Facebook or Instagram #bemyguestwithdenise I will love to see it!!! Kisses my loves….
