Do you love to entertain? Yes…me too! But, what do you do with all of those beautiful pieces when they’re not in use? Well your in for a treat. I’ve been super busy getting a head start on my spring cleaning. First, giving our Laundry Room a refresh and now on to the next part of our home. My Entertainment Closet. Having an Entertainment Closet an absolute luxury if you have the space to contain all of your items. Let me give you a tour along with some quick and easy tip on how I updated my entertainment closet.
Not much has changed since the last time I shared my entertainment closet with you. There’s one exception, more stuff….lol! It’s been two years and I’m still in awe…every time I enter it.
Tips & Tricks to maximize every inch of space!
Over The Door Shoe Rack gives me life! My addiction for beautiful dinner napkins will never go away. Placing my table linens on this shoe rack allows me to have a functional storage and easy accessibility to them when I need them.
Wall Files, or a magazine rack are traditionally used in your office or your command center. It’s conveniently, to the right of the wall when you enter my closet. My I-pad notebook and some entertainment check off list on my gold clipboard is left here.
Creating your entertainment closet doesn’t have to break the bank. Take full advantage of your shelf space. Walmart has budget friendly storage solutions to get your organizing on track. Here are a few tips:
Expanding Cabinet Shelf, is my staple for organizing my kitchen cabinets. So…. why not use one in my entertainment closet. They’re practical, sturdy and it’s a great way to make use of the empty air space on your shelving.
Plate Stand or Tabletop Easel, are great to use if you want to show off your plates. Having my plates on a stand allows me to enjoy looking at my plates. Be sure to get the right size to fit your plate.
Cake Stands….is another trick I used to maximize space. By placing my large serving bowl on top of the cake stand leaves space on the bottom to place smaller items.
Candle Holders… used as a riser!
Make-Up Storage Organizers, are my favorite organizational things to use. It’s perfect for storing my small items such as individual salt and pepper shakers, napkin rings, food labels, and mini appetizer utensils.
No monochromatic shades here. Color….I heart color!!! Part of my revamp plan was to put like items and colors together. Using this system makes life so much easier when decorating or putting together a tablescape. Don’t you just love this little setup.
Vignettes, displayed on my shelving is a time saver. At moments notice I can set a tablescape in zero time because of this system. Grouping similar items together to create a store front look but is simple and fun to do. This make is so much easier to find and locate anything quickly. It’s one of the most enjoyable part of styling and decorating our home.
