”Cherie” from ”LiveLoveLatte” reached out to me to do my very first collaboration with her on entertaining. I was honored. Since I already had plans, the timing was perfect. Every year our family love to celebrate the Fourth of July with lots of food, drinks, and good company. This year is no different than the others. Except instead of having our traditional Barbeque on the menu instead we wanted crab legs….
I’m not really big on having over the top themed tablescapes. But this year I wanted touches here. This was my inspiration. A fire engine red claw from Pier 1.
Gotta have your butter for dippin. A couple of Ramekin Butter warmers are on stand by. I also purchased from Pier 1 for $3.99 each.
Displaying your food on a stand makes a great presentation for your food. The stand that the crab legs are sitting on was a DIY. Hubby had scrap wood in his shed he cut 36’L x 14’W and I added 6′ legs I purchased from Home Depot. Wood stain finish the look.
These pretty silver bowls that the salads is sitting in was a HomeGoods find. You can purchase something similar at Amazon.com The great thing about the bowls they are double insulated and designed to keep food cold. Just place them in the freezer for a few hours and serve. No condensation and No ice. Click on the link below to get yours.
My DIY chalkboard picture frame was a thrifty find. A can of chalkboard spray paint got the job done!
Warm towels and lemon wedges to freshen those spicy hands.
Beverages are placed on my thrifty find outdoor console table.
Dessert for the kiddo’s…. were cookies. I used blank thank you cards and a hole puncher, doubled sided tape and threaded baker’s twine to keep the cookie in place. Cost $1. I want to wish my Hubby and Cherie a Happy Birthday! and to all of you have a safe and Happy Fourth of July.
