Kitchen Reveal | From Dark To Light Featuring Floor & Decor

Dark To Light Kitchen Makeover With Floor & Decor

Today is a good day to share our kitchen reveal. Thanks, to our friends over at Floor & Décor for adding the icing on the finishing touches to our kitchen. Back story, we absolutely love our kitchen, but it was time for it to be updated. The most affordable way to lighten and brighten any space is to paint.

Here’s the before, we love the space and the layout. Last year, we gave our kitchen island an update by beefing up the island with MDF. We loved how it turned out. It got me to thinking, maybe we should consider painting our cabinets.

Here’s the after!

After, painting the cabinets we decided to change out our backsplash. If you’re on my Instagram you may have seen where I took you all along to pick out tile for our backsplash. Floor & Décor has top quality products at rock bottom prices and as you can see they have a wide variety of in stock product.

Viviano Marmo Provence Carrara Waterjet Mosaic tile is one of many of Floor & Decor’s popular tiles. You can obviously see why. Love at first sight when I laid eyes on this tile. Its the perfect focal point above our cooktop.  This 12×12 decorative tile has a grayish-blue look, and each tile has it’s own unique look with natural veining. This tile has the most beautiful polished high gloss finish that adds the right amount of shine to our kitchen.

Look no further…I LOVE this!

Did I mention   Floor & Decor Inspiration Center  offer FREE design services to all shoppers…I’m totally winning. My shopping experience was unique, and pleasant. The staff was so friendly and helpful, my trip was truly a pleasure. Carrara White Brick Marble was our choice for the rest of the backsplash.

Hiring a professional was so worth our time and money. Installation, took only a few days, our tile contractor Frank was just amazing. He made sure I was involved every step of the way, especially when he got around to the decorative tile above the cooktop. He ensured that’s what I wanted. If you followed along on my instagram stories, you may have seen that it took only a few days.

Words cannot describe how much I love my kitchen. It’s bright and airy and it feels and looks twice as big.

We wanted some variation and interest so we added Floor & Decor’s subway tile. It’s like the colors black and white, it’s classic and timeless and it will never go out of style.

This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Floor & Decor. The opinions and text are all mine.
