Happy New Year! 🙂
My resolution… I’m determined to keep all of our closet’s clutter free this year! My quest is to donate many of our sheets, towels, and blankets to the homeless and pet shelters. There’s so many little things that we don’t use, I’m excited to gain the extra space for things that we do use. Now, its time to start fresh. I’ve partnered with Better Homes & Gardens At Walmart to share how I will be using their organization essentials, which is sold exclusively at Walmart to tidy up our second story linen closet.
Here’s My Happily Ever After…
With a good plan using simple and inexpensive organizational essentials getting to this point was a breeze. Everything, has its own space with plenty of room to grow. Come see a few of my easy clutter cures that can help maximize our space and style.
This is our second story linen closet that’s long, narrow, and deep. It’s in need of some attention but it can be a challenge to get anything from the deep dark hole. It was starting to be a catch all closet. As many often say…I’ll just put it here for now, three months later here we are. It’s time to get function & get our style back.
Wire shelving has its pros and cons. It’s great for letting your linen breath but, it’s a nightmare to stand anything on it. Grrrrrr…. My hubster removed the old wire shelving YAY!!! and replaced it with Better Homes & Gardens 5-Cube Storage Organizer, I’m obsessed beyond belief. Assembling was fast and easy. We purchased two units and placed them inside the closet. (Smilng, easy peasy!)
When purchasing any furniture, I always look for versatility. Better Homes & Gardens 5-Cube Storage Organizer, has it. You can configure it in so many ways. A place to store your decor, books, living room and office items. It comes in multiple colors that you can choose from.

Time for fresh new storage essentials! Better Homes & Gardens Bronze Wire Large Stacking Basket is primiarly used for your pantry. You all know me and how I’m always thinking out of the box. My plan is to use them inside our linen closet. They’re well made, unique looking, with the brass handles, and are also stackable which is a great space saver.
Three bins are being used on both of the shelving to store extra handsoaps, washcloths, and toiletpaper. Open face baskets are great for easy access for getting what you need quickly.
Real or faux greenery can bring life into any space, even inside a closet (wink). Better Homes & Gardens Stone Planter With Faux Foliage is such a sweet added touch to the Cube Storage Organizer. There’s no need to worry about watering and the stone base adds a rustic touch that any farmhouse lover would adore.
White towels are my favorite for several reasons, they’re easy to launder, and its easy to keep them white. Better Homes & Gardens Thick & Plush Solid Towel Collection are thick, warm, and extra absorbant. It’s everything you would want and need in a bath towel.
Our cleaning caddy is on the bottom shelf, thats easy to see, and easy to get to.
Hope this post has motivated you to get your home whipped into shape. An organized home… Is a happy home!
