Here’s our outdoor living space! We entertain outdoors all year round. The winters aren’t too cold so we can get away with that here in Florida. Our outdoor space is our little slice of heaven and we keep it maintained as well as we can, hiring lawn care services from companies like Trugreen in VA (yes, they provide their services to Florida too!) that continue to keep our lawn looking beautiful and very healthy.

This is the before picture of a picture. Sorry… I couldn’t find the original. The space was fine for a small group. But we need more space due to the large groups of people we entertain.

 

Prior the existing patio was 8 x 23. Hubby and I decided to add 23 x 23 more to the existing patio so everyone can have plenty of space to mingle and extra space for our future outdoor kitchen.

This conversation set was purchased from walmart a few years ago. As you may already know. I almost NEVER…pay full price for outdoor furniture. I always buy off season. It’s cheaper.

 

 

I love using Lanterns. They not only provide light, they look great indoor as well as outdoors.

 

My $7 thrifty find, perfect for my dining table. It wasn’t always this color and the glass hurricanes weren’t there either. My friend, spray paint help me out with the color. Then my other buddy, epoxy help out with keeping the hurricanes stay there.

An outdoor chandelier for extra lighting at night. This was a great buy at Lowe’s. It was not on sale but it didn’t break the bank.

 

Planters are always used in any space I decorate. Greenery brings such life to any space. For a slight splash of color I purchased these soft green planters from Joanne’s Craft Store for $27 each retail $109.

 

 

My outdoor console table was a thrifty find. I love it. It’s perfect for entertaining serving appertizers, snacks and drinks.

 

Our outdoor living space we built not only for ourselves but with our guests in mind as well. We want eveyone to be comfortable, relax and enjoy the atmosphere. That’s our key to being a fantastic host.
