Spring is ALMOST here and some of you might want to get some spring cleaning done around the house. Some people might use someone like Maid Just Right to help with doing a deep clean of your home. However, we like of focus on one room. Every year our laundry room is always in a need for a refresh. It’s the highest traffic area in our home. We enter and leave our home through our laundry room on a daily basis. I have a few quick and inexpensive tips to clean and refresh your laundry room. I have a friend who tries their best to keep their entrance as clean as possible, however, she has carpet and having a family she often has to contend with strains, that why she looks for the best carpet stain remover to keep her own clean during her spring cleaning.
Start with your dryer. It’s crucial that you do this every year. Depending on how much you do laundry it may need to be done twice a year. There are three reasons why you should clean your dryer. It improves the efficiency of your dryer and it keeps your energy bill lower. Not to mention it will make your home safer from a potential fire. The first day of spring this way I will not forget to do it. Vacuum out the lint trap of the dryer and clean vents and exhaust too.
Duster are great to use underneath your dryer. It’s the easiest way to remove those dust bunnies. Washer and dryers is the one appliance you cannot move every time you want to clean. My mom gave me this tip. (Thanks Mom). Clean base boards. Another tip for mom…I love using 409. Spray and wipe. I heart this cleaner. Clean your washer.
We use our laundry room as a pass way into our home I like to keep it inviting like the rest of our home. Once the dreaded cleaning is done. Time for the pretty organizational bins and jars. Target dollar spot has tins trays and carafe out for Easter. I grabbed the mint blue ones because it matched my house cleaning tin bin I already had.
These carafe is great for not only storing juices and water, but…they can also be used to store your fabric softener and stain cleaner tablets inside. I’m using the tray as decor and placed the filled carafes on the tray. For $3 each lots of bang for your buck!
Having Coat Rack only makes sense to have in the space. Before we added the wall paper wainscoting we used to have one there. I just forgot about having it so I purchased a new one from Lowe’s. Hanging hats jackets and my purse always some way… some how…. always gets lost. Now it has a home. See more details on my Youtube channel down below….
