Rise to the occasion……
Take a flat boring tablescape and make it into something…..fabulous using table riser’s! The centerpiece on your buffet table or tablescape. It sets the stage for what’s to come. Most of you have seen and commented on my Table Riser’s, that I use in a lot of the tablescapes I’ve created. Well…the time has come for me to show you how to make your very own. It’s easier than it looks. Trust me! 🙂
First, have in mind the size table riser you want. Then determine how you want it to function and what you might want on it as a centerpiece.
Once you have determine what you want take your measurements to your local hardware store or a good friend who has a table saw. If you don’t have one, either Lowes or Home depot will cut the wood for you for FREE. Just give them your measurements.
You don’t have to stain your wood. The choice is yours to do what works for your décor. You will need 4 leg mounts and 4 table legs with pre drilled screws.
Lowes has mounting plates and an assortment of bun feet in the same area.
Now you can add the beauty and function. I love using cake pedestals for stacking dishes when serving.
Go vertical if your working with little space. Tiered trays is another favorite tool of mine as well, especially if your short on space. I’ve used them plenty of times.
Adding a table riser to your buffet table not only makes it interesting but, it adds depth as well as dimension. And not to mention your food will look amazing.
