Fall is on it’s way and I’m feeling a little rustic this year. This table was headed to the trash until…. a nice man offered it to me. I had no idea what I wanted to do with it but, my alter ego did.
Here’s what it look like. I got busy with my palm sander after I gave it a white wash. Super easy just mix part white paint and part water together. Then I went against the grain of the wood very lightly with my paint brush. Next, just wipe off the excess paint. After I added 3 2”x6”s to use for the table top. Stained and let dry.
This planter box was my inspiration for going forward with the ”rustic look”.
It’s no secret that I have a love for ”Roosters” It was a gift from a old dear friend some years back. The family print is from Ross Stores. It’s perfect above the console table.
Overall this weekend DIY project turned out great. I’m ready for the fall are ya’ll?
