Where Do I Keep It All

where do I store it all

Keri from”Veri Keri” invited me and Tamela from ”HauteOnDesign” to share with you, ”Where We keep It All.” These beautiful talented ladies and myself want to share or tips and ideas on how and where we store our entertainment pieces. You can see their video on Youtube to see where ”They Store It All.”

Where do I store it all

Here’s my walk-in storage closet for most of my entertainment pieces. Entertaining with family and friends are such a big part of our lives. We enjoy holiday’s, birthday’s, gatherings, and special occasions. Sooo… with all of the excitement it’s important for me so stay organized.

To maximize the space, the hubster installed floor to ceiling adjustable shelving. With careful planning I needed sturdy shelving to hold bulky pieces. He installed them into the studs to ensure safety. Over time I accumulated many pieces over the years. I mostly shop flea markets and thrift stores. It’s the perfect place for storing those platters, vases, drink dispensers, multiple wine glasses, and serving trays.

Oslo blue behr

Let’s start with this unexpected cool blue named ”Oslo Blue” by BEHR Paint. It’s soothing and calm when I walk inside. It’s what I like to call my ”Happy Space”:) We painted our walls a different color from the shelving. It adds contrast and some playfulness.

Using every cubic foot of storage space as much as possible. My bulky seasonal table decor on the very top shelf helps with freeing up space on the lower shelves.

Grouping like items together makes finding what I need easily and quickly. Mostly all of my silver were thrifty flea market finds. Some are new and were purchase this year. The money I saved from thrifting it leaves room for some splurging.

serving tray storage

Oversized serving trays, dishes, and platters  are the most difficult to store. I have an assortment of different sizes and shapes. I made an executive decision to keep my platters and trays below so no one will get hurt.

bookends used to hold serving trays

Bookends are used to keep the trays in a vertical upright position. It’s functional, visible as well as easy to reach.

cosemetc storage box

An acrylic cosmetic storage box is being used to house little items that can get lost easily. Inside are napkin rings, cheese markers, paper straws, cocktail napkins and mini-salt and pepper shakers. Tjmaxx and Marshall’s is where you can find them.

stackable bins

Open stackable bins are used to store my paper straws and extra eating utensils.

over the door shoe rack used to store table linens

Over the door shoe rack is used to hold table napkins, runners, placemats. Everything is neatly pressed and ready to go. Tucked away in a drawer was a hassle when I needed something. Utilizing the interior door saves sooo….much space and time. The rods that everything is placed on is slip resistance, so linens stay in it’s place.

Giving a BIG…Thanks to my wonderful handy husband for his remarkable patience making this happen for me! Thanks my love 🙂
